The main activity of the dean's office of the medical faculty of PIHE“KhIMU” is the coordination and administrative support of the educational process for the training of highly qualified doctors in accordance with the Laws of Ukraine "On Education", "On Higher Education", "On Scientific and Scientific and Technical Activities", resolutions of the Hight Counsil of Ukraine , ones of the President of Ukraine, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on education and health care, orders of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, other legislative and regulatory acts on education and health.

The dean's office of the PIHE“KhIMU” includes: the acting dean of the medical faculty - associate professor Tynynyka Lyudmila, inspector of the dean's office - Daria Bayramova, senior dispatcher of the dean's office - Yulia Shapoval.

The dean's office of the Faculty of Medicine supervises and coordinates the work of the Faculty of Medicine of the University. This one supervises students on their responsibility for the educational process in accordance with the rules of the PIHE“KhIMU”, forms and implements the management of educational work at the faculty with the involvement of the heads of departments of the University and the teaching staff in this process.

The dean's office of the medical faculty of PIHE“KhIMU” carries out the formation, maintenance and control of the preparation of draft orders and extracts on the enrollment, transfer, expulsion and renewal of students; checks the success of students and their implementation of the curriculum.

The dean's office also coordinates the work of the teaching staff of the PIHE“KhIMU” regarding the correctness of maintaining the documents accompanying the educational process and their timely submission to the dean's office, takes part in the creation of curricula and thematic plans for disciplines in accordance with the rules of the PIHE“KhIMU”, advises students on various issues of the educational process conducts explanatory work on the observance of the academic discipline by students; maintains constant communication with students; prepares documents for semester control, credit and exam; gives the results of the success of students in their implementation of the curriculum, contributes to ensuring the quality of the educational process in accordance with the standards of higher education and regulatory documents on the organization of educational activities.

The dean's office takes part in the preparation and submission of proposals for consideration by the Academic Council of the faculty of the PIHE“KhIMU” on the organization of methodological, material and technical support of the educational process and research work, and also contributes to the work of Student self-government and takes part in ensuring social and living conditions training and accommodation in hostels for applicants for higher education who study at the medical faculty of the PIHE“KhIMU”.

Dean's office of the Faculty of Medicine of the PIHE“KhIMU” takes part in the development of measures for the conduct and control of the educational process in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic; conducts outreach work among students and teachers to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
